Description

Here's another image I did for the "Alone in the Crowd" character profiles webpage. Just like the last one of Hope and Faith, it features some extra heads on the side for the sake of practicing some. The "floating heads" of each of these pictures and any others I may submit to dA probably wont be used on the profiles page. Heck, this image of her might not even be the one I end up using. It's just my first attempt at something to use. I'm thinking of using a look like this, rather than full color at first. I just like the whole shades of grey thing. Somehow I think that's appropriate for the comic's commencement. As the strip runs, color will open up (so to speak).

Sara'a design has essentially remained the same since I first drew her. It's just tweaking those particulars that have gotten her to where she is today. I'm quite happy with it. I think it gives off that tomboy feeling I was hoping to have a part of her. Personally, I think without her breasts she'd look for like a boy than a girl, especially since I don't draw eyelashes on her like I do the other female characters. The only thing that's slightly bothering me right now is that Sara's (most of the adult characters actually) head seems to have gotten longer. I want the adult heads to have more of a shape to them than the children's, but I think (for example) the head on the top right is a bit too much. The others seem to work ok, but we'll see as I work the comic itself more.

Cool pic! She's a tomboy, but you can still definitely see the girl in her. I'm looking forward to seeing her interaction with Hope and Faith
